BNP Paribas Cardif in Taiwan is pleased to announce that its internal fundraising campaign “Piggy Bank – Love Contributed with Coins” has successfully raised a total of NTD400,000 to help support the local performance group Paper Windmill Arts and Educational Foundation to stage the 110th performance of its children show “Paper Windmill Fantasia” in New Taipei City, which attracted around 5,000 people to attend.
Following last year’s success, BNP Paribas Cardif in Taiwan this year once again held the “Piggy Bank – Love Contributed with Coins” campaign which encouraged its employees to collect coins and donate them to a specially-designed Piggy Bank. With the strong support from the employees, the campaign swiftly achieved its target and raised a total of NTD400,000 in two months.
The donation was used to sponsor the 110th performance of Paper Windmill Arts and Educational Foundation’s children show “Paper Windmill Fantasia” with free admission on 30 November in Tucheng Elementary, Tucheng District, New Taipei City. The funny and interesting performance brought an unforgettable and quality art and cultural experience to around 5,000 young and old participants.
Apart from sponsoring the event, a group of BNP Paribas Cardif employees also acted as volunteers to help manage the show on-site and play games with the children to provide them some pre-show fun.
